Assistant Category Manager (Non-food)

This position will be under HOME+ e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and margin for designated categories and take initiative on range extension, promotion planning, and sourcing new products in order to achieve of business targets and KPIs.
Execute and evaluate merchandising activities and identify business opportunity with actions.
Liaise with suppliers from product sourcing & joint promotion and manage relationships with suppliers for long term strategic partnership
Work closely with internal parties on promotion planning to drive sales; stock planning and maintain optimal stock;
Manage inventory by good promotion plan and stock management

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Business or any related disciplines
At least 3 years of category management experience gained in FMCG industry
Good market sense and able to work in fast pace environment
Strong numeric sense and analytical skills and able to prioritize projects and tasks
Outstanding influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
Experience in e-Commerce / retail industry is an advantage
Candidate with less experience may be considered as Senior Category Officer
Immediately available is highly preferred
