What You Will Do

As Brinc’s Associate Program Manager (APM) for the Sustainability & CleanTech Accelerator, you will be accountable for implementing any of the proposed changes and improvements to the program, coordinating the program’s projects, and supporting them in their inter-dependencies.

Under the direction of the Program Manager (PM), the APM will coordinate and run all aspects of the program, and pay particular attention to processes and existing tools for the effective coordination of the program’s projects and management of the many related activities including oversight of any risks and issues that arise during the delivery of the Accelerator will be essential.

The APM will work closely with the PM to strengthen Brinc’s Sustainability & CleanTech curriculum and network by conducting market research, creating case studies, and representing the program to external parties. The APM will also support in conducting due diligence and investment-related activities.

The APM works closely with the founders of the startups which they supervise; becoming one of the first lines of interactions between Brinc and Founders. They are expected to take on all tasks to learn how to run an accelerator program.

You are well versed in Sustainability & CleanTech-related technologies and you care about the future of our ecosystem.

We expect you to have an organized and analytical mind. You have strong analytical and communication skills. If you are also confident in your client interfacing skills and project management abilities, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to support all startups that join the Sustainability & CleanTech Accelerator program.

When you see a problem you roll up your sleeves and fix it. You are a self-starter who is able to adapt to change and work independently, but also a team player who feels at ease supporting others. You are passionate about the Startup Ecosystem globally and clearly understand how to solve problems.

Example Projects
  • Run a successful Demo Day for each accelerator cohort showcasing our investments to ecosystem partners and investors
  • Manage and design internal and external communication channels such as slack the slack group for each cohort
  • Manage a team of interns to execute program objectives
  • Collaborate with Brinc’s marketing team to develop cohort-specific marketing collateral for founders
  • Architect and audit founders’ journey from start to finish in Brinc’s accelerator program
  • Creating Sustainability & CleanTech company case studies for the program curriculum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support with end-to-end scoping, execution, and delivery of Sustainability & CleanTech program
  • Conduct continuous market research on different use cases within the Sustainability & CleanTech space
  • Liaise with external parties including academics and researchers in various industry verticals to develop hypotheses, perform targeted data analysis, synthesize market insights and publish thought leadership pieces
  • Analyze the technical viability of potential startups and conduct due diligence during the startup selection and Investment Committee process
  • Mentor startups and assist them with their individual needs, including but not limited to:
    • Provide creative strategic plans and direction to startups in the accelerator program in order to create new Sustainability & CleanTech-related projects
    • Use performance data to help startups iterate and improve MVP
  • Build Brinc’s network of external mentors and partners related to the Sustainability & CleanTech field
  • Represent Brinc at various events, conferences, panels, and speaking engagements
  • Maintain an understanding of the key industry, technology, and regional trends that are relevant for our corporate customers and investor network


Ideally, you are/have:
  • Passionate about technology, startups, innovation, and the Sustainability & CleanTech industry
  • Undergraduate education in natural sciences and prior experience in environmental challenges, sustainable products, renewable energy; Master’s degree in Environmental Sustainability preferred
  • 2-4 years of experience in consulting, project/program management, finance/economics with 1 year of relevant experience in a Sustainability & CleanTech related field preferred
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered as Program Manager
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and the ability to flourish with minimal guidance or supervision
  • Comfortable building relationships with corporate clients and startup founders
  • Proficient in data analysis and presentation development
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced with various illustration and multimedia tools, a fast learner, and have a “get things done” attitude
  • Humble to embrace better ideas from others, eager to make things better, open to challenges and possibilities
  • Proven track record in managing and delivering projects from concept to execution
  • Strong ability in digital storytelling and brand campaigns
  • General understanding of the Sustainability & CleanTech industry and interest to learn more
