Our client is a reputable property group with diversified property portfolios in Hong Kong. They develop, own and operate iconic retail and commercial complex. They are now inviting the Leasing Director to join their team.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive leasing strategies to optimize occupancy rates, rental income, and tenant satisfaction.
  • Identify target tenant profiles, assess potential leasing opportunities, and recommend property positioning and marketing strategies
  • Handle complex lease negotiations, including terms and conditions, rental rates, lease incentives, and contract terms.
  • Stay updated on leasing laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risks.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the leasing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set leasing targets and monitor team performance, providing coaching and support as needed.
  • Lead the team in identifying and acquiring prospective tenants, negotiating lease terms, and securing lease agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential tenants, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and fostering tenant satisfaction.
  • Monitor and manage leasing budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and maximizing rental income.
  • Collaborate with property management, marketing, finance, and legal departments to ensure seamless leasing operations and tenant satisfaction.

What you’ll ideally have

  • Minimum 15 years working experience in commercial/ portfolio leasing, preferably with focus on retail leasing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in leasing management, with a proven track record of successfully leasing and managing properties.
  • Strong knowledge of the real estate market, leasing practices, and industry trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial analysis and budget management abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
