APT Group commenced its operation in 1992. It currently operates five in-orbit satellites, covering regions in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia approximately 75% of the World’s population and providing excellent quality “one-stop-shop” transponder, satellite telecommunications and satellite TV broadcasting and transmission services to broadcasters and telecommunication customers of these regions.

APT Satellite Company Limited, is urgently looking for high caliber candidates to fill the following position:

Legal Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support on drafting, reviewing and editing documents and contracts in relation to the business of the company;
  • To handle, assist and/or coordinate the handling of litigation, arbitration or other legal proceedings;
  • To conduct legal research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations;
  • Process contract negotiation and compliance related matters
  • Handle various legal related matters
  • Assist in ad hoc projects and assignments

Job Requirements

  • Degree Holder in law from HK or overseas
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
  • At least three years working experience gained in law firm or listed company is preferable but not mandatory
  • Relevant experience in drafting and preparation of contracts is preferred
  • Good team player, strong sense of responsibility, detail-oriented and willing to work under pressure and independently
