Job Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing capital works, alteration & addition works, as well as renovation projects within budget, on time and to the client’s standard of quality as well as applicable statutory requirements
  • Work seamlessly with the space management team and optimize the space
  • Oversee and feedback on design proposal on both technical and financial perspective
  • Establish budget and timeline for projects
  • Co-ordinate with internal and external parties such as contractors, consultants and end users, manage entire end to end cycle from inception to completion
  • Initial and ongoing consultation with end users as single point of contact between end users and consultants/ contractors, providing technical advice and development of project brief documents clearly articulating the key objectives and scope of the projects
  • Ensure the projects are delivered in quality standard and a professional manner and prepare project progress reports to update the senior management team regularly
  • Attend projects /site progress meetings, and manage the relationship with workplace service providers to ensure their resources are utilized appropriately, and ensure timely completion of projects within the approved budget
  • Work collaboratively with the team to manage project challenge, and liaise with end users on requirements
  • Work with end users and operation team to deliver project solutions that support the operation needs -Monitor the renovation / improvement works provided by the service providers and review the schedule for all essential facilities necessary for the renovation /improvement project
  • Undertaking day today management and coordinating with in-house functional support team, multi-disciplinary consultants, contractors, and government authorities where appropriate throughout all project phase
  • Throughout the construction stage to final handover stage, require to coordinate, and monitor the quality of services of consultants andworkmanship of contractors
  • Preparing and providing regular project status reports and presentations
  • Maintaining complete set of on-site records for effective cost control and for final account purposes
  • Ensure compliance health and safety at work, and other related statutory regulations
  • Prepare regular reports, operation proposal or plans for management review requirement
  • Responsible form an aging project close out from the owner’s perspective, including managing the handover / snagging process and ensuring full set of as-built drawings /O&M manuals / warranty documentation area in place and in order
  • Ensure compliance of healthy and safety at work to be performed appropriately by in-house and/ or outsourced resources, and also ensure compliance with the related statutory regulations
  • Prepare regular reports for management to review and approval.

Job Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years related work experience, at least 5 years’ experience on supervisory level
  • Preferable a member of relevant professional organizations, non-member of relevant professional organizations will also be considered
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills with strong ability to communicate in English
  • Strong leadership, well organized and excellent stakeholder management
  • Strong sense of ownership, business risk, compliance and efficient improvement
  • Strong vendor management experience
  • Good customer orientated with ability to handle complaints and problems in a timely, accurate and efficient manner
  • Ability to work independently and drive changes
  • Self-starter with positive attitude, a strong sense of accountability and able to perform under pressure
