The Position:

You will be an individual contributor directly report to Global HR VP, and will be the subject matter expert for HR Corporate team to provide professional solutions to address employee issues in the context of compensation & benefits (C&B), global mobility, salaries tax in legal compliance, covering manufacturing facilities in Shenzhen China and Dominican Republic as well as headquarter in Hong Kong

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Formulate C&B strategy to attract, retain, mobilize and motivate high calibre talents to perform and contribute to business strategies and needs in support of company success
  • Design and implement C&B programs based on emerging changes in business, market and legal environments
  • Build up and/or enhance C&B infrastructure and systems in respect of market-competitive job & salary structure, promotion & salary planning guidelines, offer guidelines, etc
  • Develop and execute C&B policies and guidelines to address local needs while aligning corporate directions
  • Develop and execute international mobility policy and guidelines to facilitate seamless movement of talents across the borders for long term, short term or project needs
  • Devise and implement incentive and bonus plans to drive delivery of business metrics in sales revenue, profit, customer services, quality, productivity, speed and cost savings in both commercial and manufacturing areas
  • Engage in external benchmarking for market intelligence through surveys and networking with HR practitioners
  • Provide guidelines to enable effective HR operations for all sites including payroll administration, benefits and welfare review, tax filing, etc.
  • Conduct process mapping/flow pertaining to employment life cycle with clearly defined roles & responsibilities to optimize HR efficiency and quality
  • Champion HRIS and monitor employee data management to enable legitimate analytics for manpower planning and talent management
  • Construct and coach delivery of HR scorecard/dashboard to track HR performance against KPI on people metrics including hires, attrition, key talent retention, productivity (including sales per headcount, sales per payroll, etc), organization levelling, competence development, etc.
  • Lead key HR projects
  • Deliver effective C&B communication
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

  • University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent
  • At least 10 years Human Resources experience and 5+ years hands on compensation and benefits
  • Definite advantage for high-calibre candidates with hands-on experience in PRC manufacturing operation and global mobility in MNC environment
  • Experience in HRIS design, good sense of IT knowledge to drive process improvement, data management and HRIS implementation

  • Proficiency in using computer software including Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and Chinese Word Processing
  • Frequent travel (around 40% by day-trip) to Southern China and occasional travel to South America as and when required
