Job Description
- Lead and manage Procurement organization and work collaborate with Inventory Control functions within Global Manufacturing.
- Support the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies and Digitalization tools.
- Ensure that the Materials Department supports the Global Manufacturing & Supply organization in meeting customer requirements. Ensure that materials supply equal demand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the Procurement organization within Vantiva Connected Home Operations.
- Develop and staff the Procurement organization to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
- Own a process to continually and systemically review materials management metrics and reports to ensure the department is focused on the right activities yielding optimal results. Provide the department with data administration and clerical support to ensure the department has access to information to yield optimal performance.
- Communicate objectives, goals, and mission of the department to the staff. Provide company and department performance results in person at least quarterly, preferably monthly in departmental meetings.
- Operate a materials training and development program that is tied into performance reviews. The training program will be in line with Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain’s objectives, policies, processes, and transactional training including system applications. Maintain a good training and a good succession plan to accommodate changes in business needs.
- Give employees frequent and timely feedback and performance reviews that are quantitative and qualitative based measurable objectives, skills development as well improvement goals.

3. Support the development and implementation of Supply Chain strategies and systems.
- Ensure Global Manufacturing & Supply organization ’s execution of Supply Chain strategies.
- Provide feedback to Sourcing commodity strategies and regional resources for continuous improvements.
- Support the development of VV Connected Home Supply Chain strategies and systems. Support interaction with customers and suppliers to obtain feedback and ensure Materials Department’s collaboration with GCM, suppliers, and customers to develop supply chain solution that improves VV performance and service levels.
4. Ensure that Materials Department supports the Global Manufacturing & Supply organization in meeting customer requirements.
- Work closely with Global Manufacturing & Supply Management team to ensure Operation on the value of serving the customers and meeting business objectives by eliminating materials shortages and liabilities.
- Ensure an extremely disciplined release PO against Kinaxis Master Production Schedule (MPS) process, materials planning, and production planning with ODM.
- Monitor and support overall cost of materials including materials cost, freight expenses, administration expenses, and cost of materials management. Ensure that OPC are optimized.
- Minimize materials liabilities. Ensure that all materials in stock and on order, and purchase orders are placed with terms & conditions that are negotiated and agreed to by GCM and Industrial sourcing.
- Ensure supply base contributes to success of the deliveries and that suppliers are assessed based on overall cost effectiveness and their ability to meet requirements. Monitor, track, and provide feedback on suppliers’ performance on overall cost, delivery, and quality.
- Ensure timely and accurate material movements at the lowest total possible cost.
- Minimum 10 years solid experience in Electronics Manufacturing Industry related to Purchasing, Planning and Materials Management. An experience in managing department(s) responsible for some or all asper of materials control functions.
- One or a combination of a bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain, Materials Management or an equivalent preferred), a certification by related professional organization such as APICS and NAPM.
- Extremely strong skills in the following areas: communication, leadership, business analysis, process and system development and change management.
- Able to represent the Procurement team for the Supply Organization, in front of customers (internal & external) work independently and under pressure. Willing to work extra miles.
- Thorough understanding of Supply Chain processes and system from philosophically and transactional perspectives. Demonstrate financial understanding of materials and supply chain performance.
- Open to interface with different and various cultures
- Proficient in SAP system and Kinaxis system. With excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft collaborative tools

- Willing to travel both domestically and internationally.
