We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Strategic Planning and Stress Testing Manager - Global Finance.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead the Governance and Assurance activities within the SP&ST team, primarily focusing on stress testing, but also supporting financial planning
  • Responsible for producing the Regional End-end Stress Testing Framework and operating model; overseeing its implementation in the ASP Region and countries
  • Support the Head of SP&ST in committee meetings and papers to senior executives
  • Support the Head of Strategy and Delivery in managing the end to end delivery of key Regional & Country stress tests, and the delivery of Financial forecasting as part of the Strategic Planning Cycle
  • Produce and maintain Stress testing & planning framework, governance and operating model
  • Good understanding of Regional regulatory policies & requirements (e.g. HKMA, IFRS)
  • Work closely with Group to ensure Global requirements, standards and best practices are covered, and communicated effectively to Asia
  • Support committees and chair working groups
  • Collaborate with functions and businesses on regulatory and internal reviews e.g. ICAAP, Audit, Compliance
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of committee papers submission
  • Collaborate and advise countries on standards and best practices
  • Produce reports and design documentation for Senior management
  • Support stress testing and planning delivery when required

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Finance or a Banking-related field
  • Professional qualifications in finance, auditing and project management not mandatory but advantageous
  • Solid experience in finance and related to governance and compliance preferred
  • Stress Testing experience would be preferred
  • Experience of the annual business planning process in a major financial institution is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and demonstrates ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Good command of written and verbal English; experience in writing papers to senior management is advantageous
  • Able to think strategically, and make connection of governance activities with other processes
  • Articulate and attention to details
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and work within strict timelines
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint is mandatory
